Remember to Recycle
Full Description:
It’s Good for the Environment
Last year Westerville residents have recycled an average of nearly 67 tons of recyclables…per week! That’s nearly seven million pounds of waste annually that’s being re-used, not put into local landfills. “That number is big, but I think our community can do better,” said Service Director Frank Wiseman. “There isn’t even a need to separate items any longer. Paper can be co-mingled with plastics and other products. We owe it to future generations to start recycling more now.”
